Security and Policing 2018
Posted on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018
CrisisCast is delighted to be back in farnborough delivering two live areas that will bring security products and services to life in a truly memorable way:
We are the main sponsors of the Live Demo Arena where The UK Home Office collaborates with partner organisations to showcase their techniques, skills and approaches across a range of different scenarios.
As part of this showcase, an exciting and diverse range of new products will be demonstrated and CrisisCast creates virtual scenes and scenarios that showcase the products in realistic settings.
And in the Immersive Feature:
ON THE MOVE – INNOVATION AT THE BORDER IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BORDER FORCE AND CRISISCAST
The Live Immersive Feature for the 2018 event, in partnership with Border Force, will unveil the build of a Multi Modal Transport Hub, addressing the areas of counter terrorism, prohibited goods, clearance and human trafficking.
The feature will showcase technologies for foot passenger and vehicle terminals, which address the challenge of individual passenger mass screening, whether those passengers are on the move through terminals or remaining within vehicles. The feature will also include the screening of both baggage and goods vehicles.
Visitors can expect to see solutions used in current environments and technological advances that could play a key role in the future development of these sites. Themes will include: advanced passenger information, detection of risk, behavioural analysis, identity verification, imposter detection and facilitation of legitimates.
Visitors will be guided through the feature, which follows the development of a Border Force Operation, which has been monitoring an organised crime gang for some time. During their journey various clues emerge in different situations that enable Border Force to use the latest techniques in gathering and analysing data and intelligence, from a number of different sources.
